Are any upcoming shows impacted due to COVID-19?
The safety of our patrons, staff and the artists who perform at Nitefall on the River events is paramount. We’re closely monitoring the developments of the Coronavirus, and are optimistic and hopeful that health risks will be behind us soon.

At this time, the below shows are the only ones that have been impacted.

The Prince Experience with Jake Kemble and Kick – Rescheduled for Friday, July 24
Jordan Davis – Rescheduled for Thursday, August 27
Arch Allies – Rescheduled for Friday, September 11

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the advice of our local and state officials. All tickets purchased for rescheduled shows will be valid for the new date. In the event that a show is canceled, refunds will be available.

As you know, this is impacting many in our local music industry. Please consider showing your support by buying a record, purchasing a ticket, or ordering a t-shirt from your favorite band.
We will get through this together.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Advance tickets may be purchased online right here on our website or via You can also get advance tickets with no service fees at Wooly’s (504 E. Locust, Des Moines) M-F 12-5pm (cash only, please).

Day of show tickets (if not sold out in advance) can be purchased at Brenton Plaza with cash/credit when doors open or online. Day of show tickets can not be purchased at Wooly’s.

Where are shows located?
Due to bridge construction all Nitefall on the River shows in the 2020 season will be located under the canopy at Brenton Plaza.

What if it rains?
Brenton Plaza is fully covered by a large canopy. Shows are rain or shine. Weather will be monitored. Any adjustments to our schedule would be reported through our social media. Please check Facebook and Twitter for day of show questions.

Are children free?
Children 10 and under accompanied by an adult are free.

What payment methods are accepted at the show?
Cash or major credit cards may be used to purchase tickets. Cash only for drinks. ATM located onsite.

Can I smoke on the grounds?
Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the event grounds. You can smoke outside the grounds and re-enter with your wristband received upon admission.

Can I bring outside food or beverages?
No, but they are available for purchase within the grounds. Coolers are also not allowed. However, you are allowed to bring one factory-sealed water bottle into the concert.

Will drinks and food be available? 
Yes, we have beer, wine, soda, and water available for purchase. Plus, food from Mo’Rub and a hot dog stand.

Are lawn chairs allowed?
Lawn chairs are allowed in designated spots just along the outside of the canopy.

Is re-entry allowed?
Yes, each attendee receives a wristband upon at the admission gate. You can leave and re-enter with your wristband.

What’s the deal with bicycle parking?
Bicycle parking is available just outside the venue.

What can I bring into the show?
Allowed to bring: lawn chairs, small non-frame backpacks

Not allowed to bring: coolers, outside food or beverages, professional photography equipment or SLRs, large frame backpacks.

All entrants may be subject to a search.

Rules and Regulations
• No illegal drugs.
• No weapons, fire arms, or fireworks.
• No pets.
• No unauthorized vending.
• Underage drinking is prohibited.
• Keep the venue grounds clean. Use the marked trash and recycling stations.
• Smoking is NOT permitted inside the venue grounds.
• No audio or video taping.
